Default '98-up JDM ITR front brakes

I think I remember reading in HyperRev that the '98 JDM ITR has larger front brakes as compared to the USDM ITR and '96-'97 JDM ITR. Can anybody confirm this?

I know the '98-up JDM ITR has a larger diameter shaft that goes into the hub for the axle.

Also, if the '98 JDM ITR front brakes are larger, what USDM components will be interchangeable?

From what I've read, the USDM ITR brakes are identical to their JDM counterparts (98 spec), the 98 spec JDM brakes are larger than the 96 spec ones, but I've never heard anything about them being larger than the USDM ones.

The 98+ JDM ITR hubs are the same size as the Prelude/Accord hubs.

So if you have a 98+ JDM ITR front hub on your car and you don't have access to the 98+ JDM ITR axles, you can use a Prelude outer with an Integra inner.

IIRC the front rotors have a larger diameter than their USDM counterpart.

what about CTR brakes?

i might get the CTR five bolt conversion, and I was wondering if it's a straight bolt on app for my DC2.

TIA

What USDM rotor (year/make/model) will be a direct replacement for the '98-up JDM ITR front rotor?

Kenji,

I got a 98 Spec JDM 5 Lug Conversion, but didnt get axles. So I converted it to USDM, I got USDM Hubs, Bearings and Knuckles and did the conversion.
All of the JDM Brake Hardware bolted right up.
I Used Civic SI axles, and ran into a problem with the caliper bracket hitting the rotor, but I Think that was because I didnt use Integra Axles.

If you need more info, Message me!!

I'm going to need to hit you up for an ECU.

DK

I'll check my Hyper Rev's when I get home and post the info.

Kenji - due to differences in offset I think you'd be hard pressed to find a USDM equivalent to the JDM ITR rotors.

I discovered this after a long time looking thru an EBC catalogue for brake pads for my 94 JDM SiVTEC, eventually found the pads were exact same as 96 JDM ITRs
