You've probably already considered this, but 4Piston and Ramey both offer fully built heads and blocks that you can purchase without providing a core. Expensive, but you'd know they're flawless.

 

Yep, some day for another build lol…this build I need to keep costs in check so I’m going to have head resurfaced locally and build it / port it myself to save on costs. Probably going to sleeve the block so costs add up quick.

 

Hey saw your post. I have a JDM B18C with a B16 head. I know it’s built but I don’t know to what extent. I won’t separate the two but if you’re interested here is a picture.

 

Appreciate that, I only needed the head. I actually bought what I need for head and only need pistons/rods now so I’ll mark as sold.
