Hello forum 2001 Civic ExTrying to get some engine and bearing specs on this type of Civic ... D17a2
I did a bottom end rebuild and I was unfamiliar with OEM bearings at the time so i just used King Std Main and Rod Bearings and after i torqued my rod caps my crank was pretty much locked up and I just really need some advise on this situation ... I have no access to micrometers or Dial Bore gauges nor can i gain access to any of these measuring tools and I just need some help on what I should do to get my crank to spin freely after everything is torqued
Does all d17a2 civic engines from the factory have the same engine letters and crankshaft number codes ? Im trying to determine what color bearings I need to use in my mains and rodcaps
