HI all,
The line running from my proportioning valve to my front right brake caliper has developed a hole. I bought some brake line and i'm either going to get a flaring tool kit from canadian tire (rental) or buy one off of amazon.
My question: Are there bubble or double flares at the indicated locations?
They are double flare metric , I think they called them bubble flare , that looks like the front drivers and you can get the OEM line from honda . What I did was get a rough measurement and buy flared lengths from an auto parts store , those won't last nearly as long as OEM .Clean up the fittings use penetrating fluid , apply torque a little at a time to get them loose , Mine came loose with little effort , remove the old and bend the new to match as close you can . The passenger and other rear lines are tucked away and will have to be pieced together to get them in unless you want to remove the gas tank and motor . I say this because if one failed the rest are not far behind and that can be scary .
