It’s been many moons since I asked a question here. I searched for anyone with this problem but didn’t find it.


My sister moved away and left me her 04 Pilot.
I’m fixing a few things from actuators to ignition key issue.
I want to replace the factory radio/cassette/dvd.

I know the subwoofer is powered by the Factory unit. Does anyone know of a aftermarket unit that can power it?
I really don’t need more than what is there now. (2 Ohms I believe)

Having said that, is there a recommendation for a simple amplifier to drive it?

And IF I was to replace the subwoofer a recommendation for a similar one which can be driven from a new HU.

Cost wise is it better just to get the sub or an amp.
