Default EK HATCH Yonaka Exhaust midpipe needs shortened

I recently purchased this exhaust from yonaka https://www.yonaka.ca/96_00_Honda_Ci..._p/ymcb005.htm
and in the description they claim *Please note this model is a direct bolt on fit for the USDM model Civic only. Canadian models of the CX/DX use a catalytic converter that is not installed in the header. In order to fit Canadian models our mid pipe will need to be shortened - any muffler shop can accomplish this with minimal cost.*
I have a Canadian 1996 civic hatchback, so i need to get the mid pipe shortened, though they do not include the measurements, nor can i find any online. I called an exhaust shop and asked but if i bring the whole car in they will charge a lot more, than if i just bring the pipe in with the measurements, any advice?

It's way easier for the shop if it is all there. But how you can drive it there with open exhaust is another matter.

i still have the stock exhaust on right now, so driving it is not an issue, how much would they charge to do something like that do you think?

I am unable to provide a quote. Every shop is different as well as every area is different. I live in Canada so my perspective may be very different than yours.
