Default 01 Prelude w/93 Accord MT (H2U5) CV AXELS NEED HELP!

just did a 01 prelude auto to manual swap. using h22 engine with h2u5 MT from a 90-93 Accord, everything is running but am having an issue with the cv axels binding. I believe the prelude axels are a half inch longer which is why the binding occurs but is there anyone out there that has this build setup and could help me find out what cv axels and shaft to use? does it all have to be the h2u5 trans axels?

Axles are chassis specific, not transmission specific except for auto/manual differences. There is no difference in the manual transmissions that would cause axle binding. The differentials are located in the exact same place. You are using the wrong combination of axles or the wrong intermediate shaft.

prelude= 628mm (24 3/4th in)
Accord= 598mm (23 9/16th in)
Same Spline count and everything else is the same .
so my question is... could I use the Accord Intermediate shaft that mounts properly to the engine and trans, and then pop in the 1inch longer Prelude CV axle to it?

For best results you should be using the axles and intermediate shaft from a manual 97-01 Prelude(non-ATTS), regardless of the model of manual transmission you have. If you still have issues with that stuff with binding then you have issues elsewhere. Engine mounted incorrectly, suspension height, etc can all play a role in axle binding. You could also have a faulty axle.

would the 1 inch difference cause the driver side to bind though, we believe it was faulty axles and im about to buy a new one but wanted to make sure. mounts and everything else is good. and also this was a AUTO 01 Prelude so is there a difference on AUTO to MANUAL specs for the midshaft?

No I don't believe there was any difference with the intermediate shaft. The only difference would be the passenger side axles - The SH and base models had different ones.
