OEM Exhaust Manifold 1990 EX
Hello all,
My exhaust system has seen better days. So I ordered a bunch of exhaust system components that are complimentary to my 1990 Accord EX which has apparently a different exhaust system than the LX.
Little did I know, the previous owner put and LX/DX Exhaust system on. So now I am stuck with a bunch of 1990 accord EX exhaust system parts that won't fit since the down pipe fits a 4-2-1 type manifold. The one currently in my car is a 4-1 manifold found on LX and DX versions.
Does anyone know where I can find a 4-2-1 1990 honda accord f22a exhaust manifold used maybe??? I am not having any luck. Junkyards have nothing and I don't want to pay $500 for a brand new OEM from Honda. According to Honda the part number is 18000-PT3-A11 or 18000-PT3-A20.
Maybe there were other vehicles which had the same part? Will this part work? 94 95 96 97 Honda Accord EX 2.2L VTEC Odyssey Oasis CL 2.3L Exhaust Manifold OEM | eBay
Thanks,

Good advice luke.
If spending money, unless you can find a good condition exhaust manifold from a junk yard, i'd say look for an aftermarket header. Some of the 5th gen accords have the 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 port pattern actually but i cant say if they will line up perfectly.
