Hondata For turbo h22a?
I was wondering if anybody has tuned a fully built h22a, with a Hondata (4b or s200).
I'm thinking about getting one, but would like get some feed back.
I'll be doing most of the tuning myself, because there are no dealers here in Colorado.
What kind of results did you achieved (Horsepower & torque etc.)?
How much time was put into tuning?
Did you start from scratch or use one of Hondata's custom tunes to start with?
Any help would be great!!! Thanks

Well.. not an H22 application, nor a turbo app, but one of the shops I deal with is a dealer for Hondata and they tuned a stock B16, supercharged.. I think they said a few hours on the dyno and they finished with 250hp 150ft/lb... So if that's any consulation for you or somethign to look forward to.
I personally have the Hondata 4B (which is the top model, I believe) for my all motor H22a. It's pretty easy to work with. Actually, I'm thinking of getting a new system. I've only had it for a few months (since Aug). If you're interested, let me know.

I'm very interested, but I need the turbo option.
How much are you asking for it and which ecu are you using (p72)?

Actually.. I'm using a P28, and yes it has the turbo option. But if you're interested in the P72. I can get ahold of that for you instead. I'm not sure what to ask for. It's fairly new and I barely used it.. SO.. Make me an offer.
If you can find a used one with harness, P72, and boost option go for it otherwise I say go for the AEM unit, or Speedpro or something other. The hondata is still more of a standalone than a piggy back, but I think I'd rather have a full standalone for the price it costs for hondata and all parts.
