Default Wheel hub bearing question

Hey their. So i have a 1995 honda civic dx sedan. I got a d16y8 on it but no vtec. Maybe the head is from another engine. My question is about the front wheel hub bearing. Is their a size difference between a abs bearing and non abs bearing? Koz i bought a bearing and i asked for non abs so when it comes to installation. The bearing that was on my car has a smaller bearing. But it has no abs sensor. And it has a race or sleeve or something that blocking the lower ball joint. Can remove the sleeve and use my new larger bearing? Thank you!

Default Re: Wheel hub bearing question

There are two different sized bearings, but ABS isn't what defines which goes where. Unless your car has been retrofitted with the larger brakes from an EX/Si, you want the smaller bearing. The parts store should have been able to sort this by your trim level and gotten you the correct part.
