Hello prelude community it’s me again… unfortunately😂😂
I’ve figured out how to jump the OBD connector to get the CEL to flash the codes. Only problem is I can’t tell which code it is this time. The first long flash is what’s confusing me.
Below I’ve linked the video I posted on youtube with the CEL flashing. Any assistance with this issue is much appreciated!

Hmmm it looks like one long blink, which is 10, and six short blinks. So, I would say it's a code 16, which is defined as "fuel injector".
Since there is a longer pause between the first long flash, and then the 6 short flashes; then it is likely multiple codes: DTC Code 1 and Code 6.
DTC Code 1: Heated Oxygen Sensor
DTC Code 6: ECT Sensor
If the shorter flashes were right after the long flash (without much pause) then it would be DTC Code 16.

Yes, I heard some Hondas does a check first.
On some model Hondas, if you don't turn off the ignition switch when checking for trouble codes, it will repeat the same trouble codes.
Does your Prelude repeat the troubles codes if the ignition is not switch off? If it repeats the same long and short pauses without turning off the ignition, then it is likely two codes.

If the identical flashes repeat (where you left the ignition switch in the second position), then it is likely two codes.
What I meant was to leave the ignition switch in the position where it flashes the codes.

^ the codes flash in the “II” position and “III”
^ my car is missing the ignition cylinder and i only have the ignition switch (circled part) to turn the car on. but you can tell the 4 positions apart pretty easily.
Short blinks are ones, and long blinks are tens. Codes are stored from smallest to largest in number... in order. The rub is that when you turn the key on, the flashes do NOT necessarily start at the beginning. So, one must watch the cycle repeat itself over and over to see the order of the flashes. Your video shows the single long flash first, and then the six short flashes. However, since you know that codes are in fact stored in chronological order from smallest to largest, you can see what the codes actually are because with long pauses in between, it cannot be the other way.
