Dimensions for the clock bezel on 88-90 civic hatch dash
My old clock bezel broke from sun rotting and I wanted to design a gauge cluster that incorporates the time bezel. If anyone has the dimensions of the bezel itself, it would be appreaciated, of course I would post the finished cad model afterwards for anyone's use.
I was just asking for the dimensions becasue I bought a few gauges already but I wanted to recreate the bezel incorporating the clock that came with the car while adding the gauges on top. Thank you for this anways maybe I can see the sizing of thise clock gauge to use as reference.
I have a wagon and a 3D scanner. Not certain if the dashes are identical.
Would still be cool to provide the raw 3D scan mesh to the community and see what you all come up with.
Looks like this part number is shared between the hatchback and wagon. 77615-SH3-023ZH

You should do that. And tell me about your scanner. I'm in the market for one.
Artec 3D Eva scanner. I think they claim 0.1mm accuracy. It is a structured light scanner. Works well for most surfaces and doesn't require tracking dots.
Was plenty accurate for scanning engines and engine bays and picking up bolt hole locations for custom engine mounts.
