Default Mystery electrical issues

99 EJ6 auto. Some of my dash lights don't work randomly, but my brights, turn indicators, OEM radio, and other dash warning lights light up as normal like clockwork.
It's just my speedo, tach, fuel, odo, and temp guages that don't work, no matter what.
The gear indicator on the dash and by the shift **** also doesn't work, but only when I turn on the headlights. Otherwise they work fine.
Dimmer switch does nothing. Sometimes if I smack the left side of the dash near it they'll all come on again, but this rarely works anymore.
Also, my cruise control does not work. The button doesn't light when I press it, it just remains lit all the time (I think) and it doesn't activate the dash light or engage cruise. I was told it used to function normally then just quit working out of the blue.
12v accessory socket also doesn't work at all.
I've checked the fuses for all of these things, and they're all totally good.
For good measure, I checked all the other fuses, and unless I'm blind, they're all completely fine.
I feel like the problems are related, and I'm confused about what could be causing them. Perhaps there's some loose connections behind the dash? Wires that need electrical tape? I'm unsure. Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure all the ground points are secure - check the ground for the computer - on mine it is on the thermostat housing.
There is an instrument ground point (a simple lug) underneath (inside) the dash. Your best bet is to try to find a Honda
Shop Manual online (download) and go through all the electrical circuits, and locate the ground points and check them
individually to make sure they are all secure. One other issue I found on the instrument panel is that the gages are not
soldered in. There is a spring loaded pressure fit from the gages into lugs on the PCB. These loosen over time because
of engine vibrations - I had to remove the instrument cluster and solder wires to remake the connections from the PCB
to the instrument contacts. If your headlights are flickering try to remove/disassemble the combination switch and check
the contacts and regrease them with the special lubricant from other accumulation areas in the switch.
