96 Accord won’t start
What’s up guys, came to this site looking for some help on why my 96 Accord won’t start up. The battery was tested and is fine, and it doesn’t seem to be the fuel pump. I’ve only had it for about a month and it was fine the first two weeks, the last two weeks it’s been doing it on and off. Some days it starts right up, and others it turns over like it wants to start but it won’t. As recently as this last thursday it wouldn’t start up first thing in the morning, but after about 45 min of continuously trying to get it going, I finally got it. I’ve noticed that if i get it running once during the day it’s usually good for the rest of the day i.e when i take it to school and then work it’s never left me stranded it only seems to do this on my first start of the day. Longest it was ever down was 2 days then i came out and tired and it fired right up. Feels like I’ve tried everything other than actually replacing parts lol. I’m going to start with a tune up and redo the spark plugs, wireset, all the easy cheap stuff. I just want to try and narrow down what could be causing the problem since it doesn’t seem to be consistent. Also there is no check engine light and when I scanned it there were no codes. Anything helps, i’m a body guy but still learning mechanically so this is all new territory to me for the most part.
