Hi I recently bought a 91 civic dx with a d15b7 put into it. It has the matching ecu but the tranny has a cable speedo so I’m getting an engine light for the vss not being plugged in. I can’t pass emissions to even register the damn thing.

First off, is this going to cause problems since the vss isn’t doing anything? I have a working speedo and the car seems to run perfecty, so I’m really not sure.

Second, is it possible to convert it so I can plug in my vss and make the ecu happy? Or am I going to need to bypass it somehow some way?
