I have a 2000 Civic DX SE coupe. I would like to change the instrument cluster in order to add a tach. Being a Canadian specific trim model, I have a few questions since I can't seem to find the answers here:
1. Does it matter if I get a USDM cluster since I'll be swapping the speedo?
2. The SE trim has ABS. Will I need to buy a cluster that has an ABS light?
3. Anything else I should look for?

No, but: USDM one will be dumb and say "Unleaded Fuel Only" ... like there's any other fkn choice. Also doesn't have low wiper fluid light, though not all Civics have this. I think they have "Maintenance Required" indicators too, which are also dumb.

There's like a zillion of these around in junkyards. Go hunt for a Canadian one, in my opinion.

 

canadian sir cluster! but for real go to junkyard and pull one from a sedan with a sunroof. At least here in the states most EX sedans have the tach with the abs light. plug in play 96-00 clusters (as far as I know in the US)
