GSR Trans Won’t Go Into Reverse
This is my first post so bare with me
I have a B20 Integra that I just installed the gsr trans into. I can’t get into reverse at all but 1st to 5th works fine no pops or grinds. Reverse almost feels like a brick wall so to say.
I’ve tried everything under the sun to try and get it to go except open it. I just put it in today. Reverse was working fine in the other car I got it out of but I can’t seem to figure out why it’s doing that now.
Things I’ve tried was…
1. Easing off the clutch while trying to put it in gear
2. Giving the car a good roll forwards and backwards and then trying
3. Replacing fluid(The fluid in the trans is fresh since I just put it in)
4. Tried entering every other gear then trying reverse(eg. 1toR or* 5toR)
I can ensure that the clutch is on perfect I even bled the clutch and then tried after refilling. Now I didn’t fill the transmission with fluid myself so one thing I’m thinking is that it was filled too much since I heard b series transmissions take 2-2.3 quarts of fluid and 2.5 was put in but that shouldn’t effect it too bad. Or was it possible the wrong oil/fluid is in there?
If anybody has any pointers they can give me besides opening the transmission(which I probably have to do anyways) I would greatly appreciate it.

Usually, the cause of not being able to shift into reverse... besides the obvious 5R hub/slider (which might explain the "it worked and then it didn't" behavior) would be improper free-play in the main shaft or differential.
