1994 Accord [F22B2] idle issues
I have an automatic 94 accord wagon with an F22B2 and 130K miles on it. Motor starts up normal, but when it warms up idle drops to 500 rpm +- 50. I’ve read through a ton of idle issue posts and done a bunch of testing
Electrical tests great. Can’t find any leaks in the air system. Fuel pressure is spot on (Motor sounds great tbh). Also tested the “shaky key” issue because it will randomly die sometimes. Most recent test was the IAC valve per factory manual. Unplugging / plugging in the P2(?) connector did nothing to the idle. Also adjusting the idle itself doesn’t change anything (screwing all the way in will bog it down but backing out never goes above the 500 rpm +-50). I swapped a brand new OEM IAC and tested again but that didn’t fix it either
I know this is a lot of words just to ask if anyone out there knows something weird I’m missing or what I should do next but I would be SUPER grateful for any advice at all. I have way bigger plans for it (JDM H22A + 5-speed LSD swap) but I need to be able to daily it until I can collect all the parts + money. Super bummed that I might be reaching the “fix or sell” point since it’s my only car
