Is it a good idea to buy Civic DX?
He says that it has smoke coming from the exhaust but he doesn't know whats causing it does anyone know what might be the problem and if this is a smart purchase for the price and if its an easy fix? (Not correct mileage)
That could be very expensive to make right. My vote is cracked ring lands are to blame for the oil burning.
Depends on your comfort level with repairs/spending the money for the repairs.

Do not buy it unless you're prepared for the worst possibility, IE a toasted motor and a half assed turbo setup that will take repairing.
For the price it could be a good deal, but only to the right buyer - You're buying a project car that is already known to have issues, there are likely many more problems beneath the surface. You'd have to know what to look for.

Motor likely needs to be rebuilt and that turbo setup looks like the typical ebay junk. I wouldn't pay money just to replace a majority of the parts. PASS
its been so long since i had a greddy kit..i had it for b and d and to be honest, i dont remember how the actuator looks like lol.
all i see it the manifold with the mounting points for the heat shield

It'd be cool if more turbo manifolds tried to incorporate this, or offered a heat shield that would fit them. I can easily understand how that would greatly complicate fitment though and likely be an even harder piece to fabricate effectively than the manifold itself.
