Need help asap.
So this is the deal. I have cleaned the egr, the iacv, I believe I've checked my vacuum lines correctly but I could definitely use a schematic. The main problem I'm having is after I hit the gas one time, I have zero acceleration. It will rev up but no acceleration forget about hills, it's not going to go up on it unless I get a running start. I will have to turn the car off and then back on, and then hit the gas one more time for it to work again.
I unplugged the TCU and it will shift into second third and 4th on the first pedal press , but then I have to turn off the car and do it again. It will start revving(bucking or surging idle) once I turn on the AC after it warms up. But again, I have one pedal press and then it is done. Any help ASAP is appreciated, as I am staying in the car downtown until I can get this resolved because I do not have the money to have it towed. I can always run to the junkyard and grab parts as needed. Thanks in advance, if anyone is near nashville. I can definitely use a hand

So, the problems as I see them are no power and no shifting. For the now power, you could check the compression or the tps or anything similar to that. That's a big area and I'm not 100% without some more details.
Second, the shifting problems lead me to believe it is an automatic. Check the shift solenoids on the transmission and make sure there is nothing wrong with them. A weak connection or broken pin there could be causing intermittent issure.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I have already checked the tps. I need to know what to do to check the shift shift solenoid I've taken the TCU off and cleaned it thoroughly and replace it. I can take another video, to see if that helps. I did the TCU according to YouTube videos and the tpsHow would I go about checking my compression? Yes it is a 99 2.3 l VTEC automatic with 270k miles as stated, I have cleaned the EGR passage the gps, the iavc, the spark plugs, I haven't plugged out of the previous items and tried and plugged them in again, the only discernible difference, was whenever I ran it without the front O2 sensor plugged in. I have noticed, once it starts to warm up if I turn on the air conditioning, it will start revving again, without me touching the pedal. Hopefully this helps I will post another video in just a moment.
