Transverse Rwd 91 Crx
As far as I have seen this has not been question asked here and if it has been asked it has not been answered well. I have a built d16y8 in my crx and was looking to do something different. This would be that. Here is what I know, there are crv/wagon trannies that would work and I have already sourced them. I need the corresponding rear diff for which one I choose to purchase. The wagon transmission is cable actuated however not with the typical shift linkage setup, the crv transmission is hydraulic and I am not sure how that would work. I believe both use 23 spline hubs, you can use the normal rear trailing arm swap for awd crx’s. I’m trying to do this as cheap as possible so I think that would be my main cost the rear diff brace and etc. Would one of the pre manufactured kits work for that (specifically the humble performance kit)? Does the fuel tank need to be relocated and be swapped over to a fuel cell? How would the hydraulic transmission cable swap work, from what I’ve seen the aftermarket adapters are for other eg civic trannies and stuff and don’t say the bolt up to a crv slave cylinder. If any more info is needed I will gladly supply it, thank you for being patient with me it’s my first time posting here.
tldr: transverse Rwd crx but I only half know what I’m doing and what I need.

That's probably not going to work the way you think it will. The transfer case is not going to take all the torque and send it to the rear. It will just explode and liter the road with it's guts.
Go AWD or FWD.
