Default Throw out bearing won’t make contact with clutch.

I have a b20 jdm engine with an a1 integra transmission. When the engine is running I am unable to shift it into gear. There is no tension on the clutch cable arm. As far as I can tell the throw out bearing is not making contact with the clutch. I have the right clutch and I assume the right fly wheel. Is there a spacer or something I need to make the swap work.

Make sure the clutch cable is adjusted properly.

The throw out bearing is not making contact with the clutch even when I lift the clutch cable arm with my hand.

With your hand, lift the arm until it stops. THAT is the point where the bearing starts making contact with the clutch. Adjust the cable so the arm doesn't go back down. (well, it goes back down a tiny bit) If the cable is properly adjusted, the arm should rest like a millimeter below the point where you cannot lift it any higher.. To make the arm move farther up and actually engage the clutch, you will need the extra leverage of the clutch pedal inside the car. Most humans aren't strong enough to do that with their hand,

The throw out bearing is not reaching the pressure plate at all. I am trying to figure out why. I am stumped and no one seems to be understanding what I am explaining. The cable lever is bottoming out before the throw out bearing is making contact with the pressure plate. If I use my hand on the lever or the pedal there is no pressure what so ever. I have read multiple articles about people using cable transmissions with b20 engines. Is it not working because it’s a jdm b20?

90-93 Integra (cable) transmissions mated up to B20 engines (JDM or otherwise) is very common in an EF. Tried and true.

Just throwing out an idea: Inside the clutch housing area of the transmission, it's possible that the fork that moves the bearing is no longer bolted to the lever arm's shaft. If that bolt has come out, the lever arm will just flop around, never moving the bearing.
