Hello, first post forgive me if this is in the wrong place. I have a 1995 manual DX hatch and while replacing the passenger lower control arm with an impact I broke the threads off of the Subframe/crossmember had to cut the bolt off. to fix this I purchased a replacement subframe/crossmember and everything looked the same but when I swapped over the steering rack the mounting location looks slightly different and the bolt hole didn't line up on the passenger side see images. does anyone know what crossmember I bought? is there a difference between LX, DX, EX, SI,VX crossmembers I have a manual steering rack and a manual transmission. another question would be would any body have the correct crossmember to sell
A "Power Steering" rear subframe has a slight depression in the middle of the right side steering rack mount... all "Manual Rack" subframes have a flat mount. In the photos above OP, the subframe on the left is one from a chassis having power steering, and the one on the right, which you marked as a "DX", is from a chassis having a manual steering rack.
If you wish to use the new subframe that you have acquired with a manual steering rack, order a conversion bracket for the right side mount from this company:
