92 Civic SI revs, goes into gear, but no va.
I've searched the forums on here and elsewhere and tried everything I've seen, to no avail, so I'm asking here now.
I have a 1992 civic dx/cx/hx (not sure, but I know it's one of those cheaper ones, no rear speakers and all that). I bought it as a roller and put in a d16y8 from an ek and an lsd si transmission from an eg. Shift linkage and everything are good. Transmission goes into gear and everything. But it no move.
I've done the clutch twice, torquing it to spec the second time. Bled it a few times. The weird thing is that, when the axles are out, the output shaft (no idea what you call it) spins, but the car doesn't move when the axles are in, and the clutch burns if you Rev for a while (dunno if it still does this after retorquing).
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'm using a clutch for a 92-00, dunno if it's eg or ek. Thanks much.

If it was me troubleshooting, in a controlled and safe environment, I would try starting the car in gear to try and isolate the problem. If the car/axles moves, the issue may not be the transmission. If it still doesnt move, more than likely transmission is bad.

NOTE: "More than likely" != 100%, since the pressure of the clutch system is what connects the engine flywheel to the input shaft of the transmission. There exists a small possibility that a bad clutch/pressureplate/etc could also be the culprit. The only 100% way for me to know if transmission is bad is to manually inspect the gears and operations.
