Became a Honda - a 10 year drive
I started my mechanicing back in 2011 with the highest MPG car i could find with my limited knowledge, then.
An '89 Geo Metro. I used to get under it and wipe the transmission clean as i could, while talking to it. yep literally, out loud.
NEXT:
a couple of years back i needed a truck - got a '94 silverado chevy and had to do tons to it to get it on the road.
Out in the cold and wet for months. Learned how to make brake lines...
recently - realizing I'd keep the truck for truck moves i studied toyota and honda... EASY after a lot of study...
Some of those honda manual transmission have a super tall 5th or 6th. Not so with Toyota it appears.
the toyota 1ZZ and 2ZZ both have issues i don't like PLUS, wow on the B and K and even D engines...
ALL in, I spend a couple of hours a day for the last month studying honda's.
I'm an idealist, ideally, so the best is pretty much, and/or almost attainable for me, WITH HONDA ONLY.
thrilled to be here!!!
