I’m building my first Honda so please don’t judge on how stupid I probably sound,
I have a 97 dx hatch and purchased a manual rack and pinion online, it said it would fit but once I got it in there I noticed the passenger side brackets don’t line up at all with the holes for the threads,
do I need new brackets, a different rack or?

Pretty sure that bracket works for power or manual racks. Try flipping it around. There are 2 pieces to that too btw. You might have it any kind of backwards.
