WTB: Four Steel Wheels For 2002 CR-V
I am looking for a set of four steel wheels for my 2002 CR-V for an extra set of tires (snow tires). Please respond to this post to contact me. I live in SW Michigan and am willing to drive a reasonable distance to pick them up or pay shipping if it's too far. Maybe someone out there has a full set of wheels with snow tires they don't need anymore? Thanks!

Why limit yourself to steel wheels? Pleny of other Hondas share the 5x114.3 bolt pattern, offset, and hub bore that are all factory aluminum wheels. Should be able to choose any 16" wheel from about 2003 and newer that is 5 lug that isn't a Civic Type R, Pilot, MDX, or Odyssey (PAX wheels).
A set of older factory wheels can be had for next to nothing.

Ryan, I follow your logic but I'm guessing that you don't live in the salt belt. Here in the midwest we get a lot of trouble with wheel corrosion from the salt which results in a slow, consistent air leak because the area of the wheel where the tire seals to the rim gets very pitted over time. Steel wheels seem to be much more resilient to rust than the aluminum wheels are to corrosion so I was hoping to get factory steel wheels since I would trust the OEM finish to hold up better than the finish on an aftermarket steel wheel. The wheels on my Honda have only seen one winter so I'm hoping to get this extra set to keep the aluminum wheels looking nice for many years. And to make matters worse, of the states that salt the roads, Michigan often rates #1 because they spread the most salt. A quick fun story: where I work, we recently had a group of customers fly in to watch a machine run that we are building for them. One of the guys asked me if Lake Michigan was salt water. I said no, it's fresh water...what made you think it was salt water? He said on the ride over from the airport, he noticed all the gaping rust holes in so many vehicles and their group was discussing this and couldn't figure out why there was so much rust everywhere. I don't recall exactly where they were from but it was somewhere rust-free like California, Utah, Texas, etc. : )

Yes, am still looking. I have received a few leads but so far nothing close to home. I'm not opposed to paying for shipping something from far away but it certainly would be easier to get something within an hour or two of where I live.
