Icon5 AEM FPR Not Fitting.

I recently tried to swap my stock FPR with an AEM one on my D16Y8, but due to the aftermarket intake manifold it's not able to fit without hitting the throttle. Has anyone had this problem in the past or know a solution to my problem? Thank you!

Are you able to take out the spacers for the injectors and the stacked washers for the fuel rail supports to lower it down and away from the throttle body to get it on? Could at least try test fitting with out them and if it's works then try finding a set of grommet seals that will work without the raise.

Swap to a 92-95 rail, or get an AEM rail. Either will move your FPR to the other end.

Can't you rotate the barb banjo fitting at the bottom so it points parallel with the fuel rail like the OE regulator ? I was thinking that model FPR has a banjo bolt on the bottom, so loosen it and rotate the barb fitting the direction that you desire, and then re-tighten the bolt.
