1990 Honda Civic DX will crank but won’t start
I have been working on fixing up this civic I bought, it ran and drove for weeks before I started working on it. The only new parts I installed were all suspension related, as well as a new battery. Now the car will turn over, crank for days, but won’t start. Fuel pump is engaging, battery’s got juice, fuses seem to be fine, relay looks brand new. Gonna see if it’s the rotor in the distributor but I’m not sure. Haven’t pulled spark plugs but like I said it ran before so I assume it’s got spark and gas
So I tested the spark wires and plugs, they’re all good. It’s carbureted so no coil packs, distributor cap is brand new and brand new lead wires to spark plugs and in-line

I had a very similar issue of everything sounding great and it cranking strong. Went through my fuel system and replaced everything before the coil pack just to have the coil pack be my issue. 😭
was yours getting spark and power from the dizzy? Just checked spark plugs and plug lines, mines all getting strong connection and spark.
Put the new coil in the dizzy, didn’t even have to touch the rotor because the coil was top mounted, but now it won’t even crank. No click no nothing. Powers accessories tho. Thinking the battery gave out after a week of trying to crank it with no luck, gonna see if it just needs a charge. Tried jumping it yesterday to see what would happen so I don’t see why it would’ve lost the charge but we will see
I could only test spark plug 1 before my plug puller randomly **** out but it was getting power and spark so maybe it’s just another spark plug? Has a cold air intake that’s all fucked up from when I bought it idk if that will affect it overtime either
have you figured it out yet? Mines dam near the same thing as your but I have a b20. Mines just died while driving on the highway and now it just cranks no start. Changed and tried known working dizzy, ecu, ignition switch, ground, battery. Main relay clicking twice.
