2008 Civic 4D Sedan. Inside Cabin, Trunk Release Handle Lock won't turn and lock. Sprayed some Tri-flow in it. Seemed a little stiff towards the bottom, but key now slides in easily and still won't rotate to lock position. My friend is not the original owner, so it's possible, but unlikely the ignition and door were re-keyed. Possible too, that some dirt has gotten in there because the cylinder is vertical. Is it possible and easy to remove the plastic housing and take out the lock for cleaning? My next best option is to hook up the compressor and try to blow any debris out of the cylinder.

Anyone have and experience with this or the same problem?
