Default how to calulate displacement

i know it is bore x stroke, but what is the exact formulia...lets calulate using a h22 bored to 89 mm's

(pi r ^ 2) [or whatever the formula for a circle is] x stroke length x number of cylinders.

89mm bore by 90.7mm stroke = 2256cc

H23 is 2258cc

there was a realy good article on estimateing compression (which relates) in sportcompact mag a few months ago, its not quite so simple to get a highly accurate measure. have to consider things like piston geometry, head/valve area, ring seal area etc etc.. i just searched for it but couldnt find it on thier web page, it was written by thier "tech" guy dave....

Well that's a better way really...keep your nicer rod/stroke and you'll have better breathing at higher revs

If I could, I would bore out my sleeves to 89mm and put in the 88mm F20 crank and have a 2.2
