Default Overly Sensitive Brakes - 2019 Honda Accord Manual

I have a 2019 Honda accord 2.0T manual and I have been experiencing overly sensitive brakes. I barely step on the brake pedal and my car jolts harshly. I cannot comfortably brake when coming to a stop without it jolting nearly giving me and my passengers a whiplash. I took it to a nearby Honda dealership and they told me that my rear brakes are worn. My left brake is at 5 ml and my right brake is at 3, however, Both of my front brakes are at 8. I was also told that I'm experiencing the harshness and sensitivity in breaking due to my rear brakes being worn out. Not the case however because I've been experiencing how sensitive they have been since I purchased the car brand new ignoring the fact that it's brand new and I figured the brakes will eventually adjust and smooth out. 2 years later to date they are still the same. Harsh jolt when stopping, discomfort and annoyed by this. Any suggestions???

I had this issue on my 2018 Accord. I checked my brake fluid and noticed it was time for a flush. I flushed it, and everything is great now. However, I've read that some people have tried a flush, and it didn't fix the feel.
