CRX diagnosis
Okay a few months back I bought a 1991 Honda CRX SI. It has a B20B and a PR3-1 head. Converted to OBD1 with a P28 base map on it. I test drove it and drove great. Brought it home and did an oil change then decided to drive it to the gas station. I didn't make it there. While driving I heard a loud pop (electrical) smoke came out of an aftermarket guage that wasn't even hooked up supposedly and the entire car lost everything. No power anywhere. Get it back home and find that the 60amp battery fuse, 50 amp ignition fuse, 15 amp ECU fuse, and the ECU are all fried. Replace all of these to include an ECU that came from a running driving EF with similar swap and a base map tune on it. Crank no start no spark. Found the ignition coil, ignitor, and Cam sensor in dizzy all to be fried. Changed to a new dizzy. Crank and spark but still no start. Checked all grounds that I can find and tested them against the body and get a beep on my multimeter. Turn the key and hear the fuel pump cycle. Checked main relay and it tests good and I tested main relay harness and it tests good. Go to the ECU and the injector wires at the ECU test as follows 12, 12, 0, 12. Okay injector 3 has an issue. Unplug the injector and test at the clip in case the injector is bad and it still tests 0 so I believe it's not the injector at this point. Checked continuity on the wire from the ECU to the C plug under the hood and I get a beep. Wiggled the wire a bit just to make sure and it stayed solid. At this point I'm completely lost and have no idea where to go.
To add I have a Monotech engine harness and jumper harness brand new.
