Default Oil leak

I have oil leak from lower timing cover side which hard to determine if it is from crankseal OR oil sump. Is there a way to find out which on one is leaking from.
It leaks around 50ml to 75ml after parking the car and whole control arm underneath socked in oil.

Oil leak from sump or crankseal

Did you clean that area or is that how you found it?

If that is how you found it probably not the crank seal.

The picture I posted is just for the reference, its not from my car. I found the oil dripping from that area.

Looks like you’ll be changing a front main seal in the near future.

Don't forget a repair sleeve at this age. Crank is probably grooved where the seal runs.
