ed7 civic hood sound deadening worth removing?
I was thinking of removing the sound deadening under the hood on my ed7 civic.
Does it actually lower the sound any? Because it would be nice to hear the b16 roar a bit more with the aftermarket air filter and all
If so how do I remove the clips? I tried once but they wouldn't come off :/

I don't think it's going make much of a difference but when your sitting idling, you'll probably hear all the valves just ticking away louder..
If you really want it off you should be able to pry them but if you can't, you can use a razor and slice the head caps off then try to fish out the stubs from the hood cavities or just leave them..
Or
If you have a drill and some pliers, grab the edge of the plastic plug with the pliers, drill off the cap head with a large drill bit then grab the plug stub from the hole with the pliers and pull it out..
Do you still have the stock exhaust manifold on there? If you do, go to a aftermarket header, it will be noticeable. The short ram intakes vs stock or cold air intakes make it a bit louder too
