Total Noobe in Idaho
Hi there! I have recently bought a 2012 Honda Civic. A mechanic friend of mine told me way back that Hondas and Toyotas were best cars, so I remembered this when I was replacing my other car (timing belt broke while I was driving it-some gals have All the luck, right?). Car dealer screwed me over- while signing papers I told him there was issue with the moon roof and a couple chips in windshield. He said finish signing, then we'll take a look. This was a mistake, because right afterwards he totally blew me off! Said it's working now. And then told me of a place to take it to get chips repaired for 20 bucks each. I called those morons, and told them I'm 60 years old, and this will probably be the last car I buy, and I expected them to treat me just as they would their mother-then added I am very disappointed. They told me they would check the moon roof (since I'd stupidly gotten the extended warranty that didn't help me any).....it was NOT covered by extended warranty-so I will have to pay for this too..... (yeah, I'm going on, but I've been VERY angry about this) and all sales are final. (I told them "so is Yelp") I'm stuck. My father died almost a year ago, and he was my only help. In the time he was getting ill I was busy fixing his house-so Youtube was my bestest friend!
Anyhoo, so I can't find anyone to help me with this. My moon roof stuck open, and I had to force it closed. Now I don't know how to fix it. I'm considering youtube again. Can anyone help a gal out? Maybe point me out to whom I could take it to-OR if it's not too hard to do, maybe I can fix it myself? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
