1993 acura integra not going into any gear while on
Hey guys , so i have a 93 DA, car was driving fine with no problems when i was on the highway in fifth gear, i went to do a pull from 5th gear to 3rd but out of no where it didnt shift into gear. I was on the highway when this happen.
after all this i had to get a tow there was no way the car was going into gear
i decided to take off the transmission (LS)
put a new clutch kit (stage3) from freewheel, clutch, pressure plate
i also changed out the throwout barren and spring retainer
yesterday was my 3rd time taking off the tranny to inspect it everything is on the right way. But the car is still not going into gear. When its off it sound like it clicks in but car wont go in gear once its on. I already tried starting it in gear but does nothing.
can it be gear selector inside the tranny?

Was there any visible damage to the old clutch when you replaced it?
Yea check the clutch line/ reservoir make sure there's no leak and you have fluid/psi and its bled with no air left.
make sure the clutch slave is operating and pulling the fork it may not be working correctly. have someone press the clutch and look at the slave cylinder.
Can you shift into all gears smoothly with engine off?
Is it just first gear that wont go in when engine is on?
Try putting the gear in second gear and start the engine if it starts try driving it and shifting to third then the rest of the gears.

yea clutch cable does adjust ive set it in many different spots but i really doubt its the cable, i check the cable line and it was all good.
when i put the clutch in it feels that it does disengage but just doesnt go in gear.

I appreciate the help apparently i have a CABLE transmission. Your talking about HYDRO transmission, a lil different lol
thank you for help tho
but old clutch came out fine no damage at all almost made me feel i changed the clutch for no reason but atleast thats out the way for a while lol.
all gears go in SMOOOTH when its NOT running,
but it wont jerk if i start it in gear ,itll start, but it would act like its in neutral no matter what gear i try and start it on
Your cable may not be adjusted properly. Remember that the proper adjustment is counter-intuitive... if the clutch isn't releasing all the way (and thus, why you cannot put the transmission in any gear while the engine is running), LOOSEN the cable. A good place to start is to pull the cable up by hand removing all slack in the release arm... and rotate the adjustment **** until the bottom edge of it is about 3/8" from the cable stopper insert against the bracket on the transmission. Then make minor adjustments from there.
