Default 97 VTECH SOLENOID

So got a pretty good oil leak from the vtech solenoid. I tried to use a offset wrench to remove it but the bolts are rounded. I think someone just put a new gasket on the head side...but it looks like the leak is coming from where the unit bolts together on the top.

Do they usually leak where the unit bolts together. Or on the head? I'm not sure if I'm gonna be able to get the solenoid all the way off with out removed a bunch of other crap because I'm gonna have to use a bolt extractor.

Well before I tear it completely down...I have some 3/8 bolt extractor sockets that are flat to put a wrench on..

Not enough room to hook a wratchet onto it but hopefull using the wrench it will bite.
