Nope, but Ali is always a risk. Buy a PS5, get a PSFIVE with mario installed already. If you get my meaning. You cant return it either, though they may say you can. Dont risk it. Unless someone says otherwise here. Find it in your own country.

If you're going to drop over $500 on a wing don't get one from Ali.

I haven't had success with 1:1 car parts on Ali but I have bought a decent amount from there. It takes a long time to get over here but usually cheaper. The items sometimes are great and sometimes not. If it's a lot of money, it usually is a better item. The cheap stuff I find can be cheap stuff, other times it's decent stuff for cheaper.

What I don't trust is name brand for cheap cheap. That is a china knock-off and it's rarely of quality. The name brands if true brand sold on Ali isn't cheap, might be a little less than local but not by much. Things like Castle Electronics for RC motors, or SkyRC for chargers or other of their products, only a touch cheaper than local.

I do something similar, where I order almost all of my things off of eBay because
1. It's normally a little cheaper, often via free shipping
2. For convenience

Buying name brand parts from reputable sellers is almost always a safe bet, and over the last 10 years on the very rare occasion I've had to contact eBay for support or dispute something, it's always gone very smoothly. Same as you, sometimes I'll take a risk with an off-brand component and have had varying results with that. Over time you learn a bit what to look for.

The same way people knock Chinese eBay/Ali sellers for "copying" some of the other aftermarket designs - I also look at it from the other direction and consider the possibility that the original aftermarket vendor themselves likely weren't all that great to begin with either. If a no-name reseller can exactly mimic the product, then to me that indicates they're probably coming out of the exact same factory, just one has a label and one doesn't... To that same ends, there have been plenty of times in the past I've paid top-dollar for a name brand part, and then been rather disappointed when it came in the mail in poor packaging, no instructions, etc.

If I'm going to pay extra for the "real deal", I'd at least like for it to have decent packaging, even BASIC instructions/information sheet, and some sort of customer service. I've definitely had multiple instances with big-brand companies being just as bad if not worse than some of these eBay/Ali resellers, so I don't feel guilty occasionally leveraging them for cheaper prices.
