Default Trouble with reverse, y8 swapped 97 civic hx manual

When the car is on and clutch in as soon as i put it in reverse the car bogs and dies. Clutch is fine. When car is off i can put it in reverse and turn it over and it will roll back. Someone know whats going on with it?

Sounds like your just trying to start the car in gear. Once I had my old clutch cable break on the winter beater and had to start it in 1st then drive home using no clutch which was actually possible to my surprise.

Your question was a little confusing but I think your clutch is not disengaging fully. Drive the car and get it coasting at a steady rpm then start pushing in your clutch, what position is your clutch pedal when your rpm drop to idle speed? Is the pedal at the floor when it finally disengages? If so, your clutch is either worn out or you need to bleed your slave cylinder.
