I hope someone here can help me out.
My son blew the motor on his '87 CRX Si.....oil leaked out!
We need a motor!
As easy a swap as possible.......nothing fancy.
Just to get him bk on the road.

What exactly happened to the motor? Is it repairable? Easy swap would be finding another of the same as original which would be nearly impossible to find in decent condition. Old friend of mine had a d16a1 in his first gen, many swaps are doable but you will find it to be a headache.

So like, people say that but really it means like the bearings spun or something. So it's not totally fucked. Just needs a rebuild. If you're interested in selling though...

 

OP's reply made no sense. Don't give him a fish if he doesn't want to learn how to fish.
A motor that is shot to me would be - threw a rod through the block, the engine hydro locked or completely seized, someone neglected the motor and its worn beyond repair, or someone doesn't know how to drive and it **** the bed completely being destroyed.
