I have a stock b18b1 in my Integra with 170,000 miles on it. The only modification I have done to my car performance wise is a cold air intake. Can my stock b18b1 handle turbo? And if so any recommendations on which kit I should get? And how many psi? This is my integra.
why not? OP is asking a vague question that has been asked 47988239832 times. If you have to ask, you best let someone else do the work. Just look at all those "unfinished project" cars for sale.
with a comment like below, I seriously have my doubts about your skill/knowledge ".....Any common problems when putting a engine in thanks Its my first time."
Runs good finished the swap today, Bled everything Still throwing codes for obd2 because the engine harness is obd1, I got a jumper harness and a obd1 ecu, that i havent put in yet .. projects should only take like 2 weeks not 2 years
You want that guy to drop a grand in labor?!?!
On a integra?
Could get better parts for all that extra money

what I asked is actually not that vague. Can a stock integra with a stock motor handle a turbo. Not that vague. And how can i ever learn if i dont ask. Not planning to do it yet but asking for later incase if I have to rebuild or not.

Rods would be the first weak point, followed by pistons and sleeves.
Stay with a GT28 frame turbo, keep the power ~300WHP maximum. If your engine currently doesn't have any fluid leaks, still makes good compression, no excess leakdown, it will be solid on a properly sized turbo with a good tune.
Go-Autoworks as far as I'm aware is the only reputable company left that make a full turbo kit for these cars. I think CXRacing may have kits as well but you'd need to carefully look over some of the components they send to make sure they actually work.

a swap takes a few hours, not 2 weeks.
if you don't have tools or knowledge how to wrench, you pay the piper and deal with it.

You removed a motor and put it back. WOw...I'm impressed. Keep watching YouTube videos to increase your knowledge on how to wrench on cars.
