Hello everyone, so I've had this issue with rust on my rear quarter panels. I've tried asking around my local area but it seems like nobody wants to deal with rust issues. I bought POR-15 about a year ago but never got around to applying it. I was most worried about making things much worse, so that's what kinda had me from doing anything with the POR15. I wanted to know what you guys think. Is this something that's fixable? If not how can atleast slow the oxidation process?
Once it is rusted through, the only full repair is to cut it out as mentioned above.
But if you want to slow it down, you'll need to get the por15 on eventually. Better than leaving it to keep rusting.
You'll need to get rid of all the loose rusted areas though and really see how bad it gets under the paint and under the trim.

Appreciate the response!
Also great point. At the least what I'll do is apply the POR15 before it goes into storage for the winter. Hopefully I'll have something more permanent planned for the spring.
