I have been using a blend of Honda MTF and GM Synchromesh. It works phenomenal. At times, I have used motor oil. My blend results in a much better-shifting transmission. So there is my one single data point for you.

If you are NOT having grinding issues, just use Honda or Acura brand Manual Transmission Fluid. Part # 08798-9031 or 08798-9031A. Usually takes just over 2 quarts unless you have an S2000.

If you ARE having grinding issues or notchy shifting, then use AC Delco (GM) Synchromesh "Friction Modified".Goes by part# 10-4014 and/or 88900399. Usually Amazon is the only option for this stuff.
