Need help v6 engine and auto transmission

I am building a mid engine dune buggy and looking to purchase an engine/trans combo with everything I need to install this combination. Need to pass CA rules for SPCN. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Are you planning to make this a street legal vehicle? From a quick search it seems you only need to play by those rules if you plan to register and title the vehicle.
