my 00 civic has factory alarm and power door locks. when i lock the door through the FOB, only the driver side lock, which the passenger side seems to have difficulty locking. could it be the lock actuator needed to be replaced?

 

does it lock normally with the buttons on the driver side door panel?? If it acts up, it is the locking actuator. If it works, it's the keyless entry module.

 

when i lock from the driver side, it locks, but the lock lever on the passenger side moves but doesn't close up all the way. kinda like stuck in between. so in that case, is that the locking actuator issue? or maybe just need some lube? my 00 EX has been in storage for about 4yrs now and stored outside under a roof.
