Icon6 Introduction

I'm a new user to this forum. Thank you for the entry.
I'm also a new owner of a 2022 Honda Insight EX.
I'm interested in adding a dash camera with parking surveillance and looking for fuse block designations and detail information.
The use of air bags and auxiliary hybrid batteries is pretty daunting to select the right fuses.
Any help with defining acronyms and what fuses to stay away, or are ideal for this application from would be appreciated. i.e. "AS P/S". "SBW2*", or other labels on the fuse block placard.
I'm going to try to upload a photo of the fuse block under the driver's side dash area for help.

If you want the dash cam to always be on (such as for surveillance when parked), then you would hook up the power wire to a constant "always on" power source.

It looks like under-dash fuse No. C30 (10A) - Option fuse is always hot. Most other interior fuses have power only with the ignition ON.

You can use an add-a-circuit to plug into that slot.

Thanks for the heads up...I just got finished earlier today installing the initial hookup for power to the dash cam(s). I selected ckt 2 (empty) for the ACC connection (Engine ON or Accessory) and Ckt 24 (empty) for the +BATT connection-Always on. I'm in the process of establishing a Power Magic Pro device by Blackvue to disconnect any load on the +BATT ckt, if it should drop below 12.5V. One of the 2 selections for the limit options via a dip switch selection. I will use this as a source for a 250watt AC-DC Inverter to maintain a 5A-12VDC Charger that keeps a LiFePO4 9Ah battery charged. This will be the "parking mode" and always on power for the dash cameras. Hopefully this will work and without catastrophic problems. I have a 3A fuse on each of the fuse block ckts hoping they will suffice... any thoughts?

Ckt 2-ACC, Ckt-24 +BATT
