Recently replaced the bearing, ball joint, and lugs on the front hubs my 05 civic. I removed the hubs and took them to a place with a hydraulic press to replace the parts. I had no problem reinstalling the drivers side hub but I can’t get the axle to fix into the spindle on the passengers side for my life. On the drivers side, I put the ball joint into the control arm and then slid the axle into the spindle but that won’t work on the passengers side. I’m able to get the axle in just a little bit so I know the splines line up fine but the axle won’t budge past about a centimeter.

Anyone have any suggestions? starting to feel like the solution is to just roll the car down a really steep hill.
