I'm having a strange issue with my trunk lock.

When I put the key in it will not turn. It is like it is jamed.

The trunk will open with the release by the drivers seat.

When I went to pull the lock out from the trunk lid, I discovered if the whole lock is loose (by loosing the bolt holding it in) it works.
But as soon as I tighten the bolt. It will not turn with the key.

I thought the cable to the trunk light my have been the issue so I moved it.

That was no help.

Any thoughts on this?
