95 Honda Integra Type R-what parts can i replace front brakes with??
I have a 1995 JDM honda integra type R, DC2. I just had the engine and tranny rebuilt and its mint but my front brakes are now seized from sitting so long i guess. My bolt pattern is 4x114 which is supposedly why its so hard to find the right rotors with calipers and pads that still fit my wheels and everything. Can't find original parts here in canada or the us as far as me or the ppl i know have been able to find out. Ive had my calipers taken apart, cleaned and put together and it didnt fix anything. Ive talked to mechanics and no ones been able to figure out what rotors fit my bolt pattern while still finding a caliper that fits the rotor and my 15" wheel. If anyones ever faced this problem or is a little more mechanically inclined than me to figure this out i would appreciate any ideas or tips! Thanks in advance!
You can use any 94-01 LS/GS/RS/GSR 17CL14VN caliper and the 10.3" 96 prelude si rotors (not si vtec) for the front.
An upgrade that will still fit under 15" wheels would be the 17CL15VN caliper paired with the 11" 96 prelude vtec rotor.
Also post pics of the car.

Hey Vanessa,
Fastbrakes can make you 4x114.3 rotors. That's who i used for my 96 Type R. Brian at fastbrakes has a few options(drilled/slotted/standard) for our lug pattern. Like Chris mentioned above standard non-type R calipers bolt on. Can find some on carparts.com
My set up for my jdm 96 Type R
Wilwood DHPA calipers(comes with their own pads)
Fastbrakes Drilled/slotted rotors for 4x114.3
Stoptech pads for the rear
Hope this helps.

And then have to modify your stock caliper bracket or buy 98+ ITR Calipers/Prelude Calipers/etc. Why not just buy the correct size ones from Fastbrakes
No you don't. You just shim the caliper bracket IF necessary. $.60 in flat washers and $25 for centric rotor vs how much for fast brakes "custom" rotor?

You have personally taken off-the-shelf Prelude Si (VTEC?) rotors and installed them on a 96 spec hub with no modifications other than washers on the stock caliper bracket?
That was how I did the 11" conversion with prelude VTEC rotors and larger caliper on 96r hubs and knuckles. I'll have to look to see if I still have the oem 96r rotors and I'll get some pictures with a prelude rotor.
Haven't found a rear rotor myself.
